Episode Notes

Welcome to week 26. There’s something magical about leaning into what you’re passionate about. We all know the narrative of the entrepreneurial student who drops out of school to start their own business. But, what about the creative storyteller who defers their degree to build a content empire on social media?

This week I’m chatting with Tejas Hullur. A year ago, Tejas decided to take a year off university to pursue his passion: telling stories and building businesses. It’s fair to say that he made the right decision. In just over a year, he has grown a TikTok audience of over 400k followers, built a Snapchat show and started a podcast. Tejas’ videos cover anything from the careers of creators to key takeaways from the business world and sometimes, his own life lessons. To complement his content creation, he’s now advising creators like Dylan Lamay on how to build their own businesses. Oh, and one more thing. He’s a creator in residence at Stir, a company building tools for creators.

So, let’s get to the good stuff. Here’s my conversation with Tejas Hullur.
