Episode Notes

Today’s guest is Tom Curtis. He’s an inspiring human. There’s a good chance you’ve seen his work. You just might not have known it was him. Tom is the creator behind Things I Have Drawn, an Instagram account sharing what life would look like if it were up to kids.

It all started when he wanted to get his kids to draw more often. To do this, Tom told his kids that he would turn their drawings into real characters. The rest is history and Tom is closing in on a million followers on Instagram. He's worked with many world-renowned brands like Gucci, Mastercard and Shopify

Here are three things about Tom that you should know

  1. He’s an executive creative director at MediaCom, one of the biggest media agencies in the world. It’s not often you find someone who loves their job and their side hustle
  2. Tom is out to make an impact by encouraging kids to keep creating and helping adults realize that maybe kids have the right ideas
  3. Even after using photoshop for 10yrs+, Tom still thinks he’s at an intermediate level. It’s a great reminder to always be a student of the game
